Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently producing a syndiotactic propylene polymer with high polymerization activity by a solution polymerization method.
A method is provided for producing a syndiotactic propylene polymer having a syndiotactic pentad fraction (rrrr fraction) of 85% or more, a melting point (Tm) within a range of 145-170°C, and a limiting viscosity [η] within a range of 0.1-10 dl/g by a solution polymerization method of a polymer using a group IV crosslinked metallocene compound.
