To provide a method for easily producing a transparent soap having excellent transparency.
The solid soap having the high transparency is produced by dissolving an alkaline material in a hydrophilic solvent having two or more hydroxy groups, and dropping a fatty acid and/or an oil and fat to carry out the neutralization and/or saponification.
