Abstract:
To provide a simple and efficient method for producing an unsaturated ring compound having a good reaction rate and yield and especially an excellent catalyst efficiency, selectivity and the like.
The method for producing the unsaturated ring compound includes a step of reacting an ,-unsaturated carboxylic acid and an unsaturated organic compound in an organic solvent in the presence of a palladium catalyst. As the organic solvent, a solvent containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an aromatic compound, an ester group-containing compound, an ether group-containing compound and a carbonate group-containing compound is used for the reaction in the method for producing an unsaturated ring compound.
