Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING UNSYMMETRICAL TETRAARYLPHOSPHONIUM HALIDE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CARBONIC ACID DIESTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013082695
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To produce an unsymmetrical tetraarylphosphonium halide in good yield and at a high selectivity rate while suppressing generation of byproducts, when producing the unsymmetrical tetraarylphosphonium halide by reacting triarylphosphine and haloginated aryl in the presence of a metal halide compound as a catalyst, and an aqueous solvent having a high boiling point.

Triarylphosphine is added fractionally or continuously to a reaction solution containing aryl halide, a metal halide compound as a catalyst and an aqueous solvent having a high boiling point.
