Abstract:
To economically obtain vinyl ether group-containing carboxylic acid esters with a good selectivity.
Hydroxy group-containing vinyl ethers represented by the following general formula (1) R1-CH=CH-O-R2-OH (1) (wherein, R1 denotes hydrogen atom or an organic residue; and R2 denotes an organic residue) are reacted with carboxylic acid esters represented by the following general formula (2) R3-COOR4 (2) (wherein, R3 denotes hydrogen atom or an organic residue; and R4 denotes an organic residue) in the presence of an enzyme.
