To provide a method for producing a spatula-equipped washing sponge which produces the sponge having excellent durability, productivity, economy, and safety and which solves various problems caused by the usage of an adhesive by not adhering a sponge part and a spatula part afterwards so as to evade the usage of the adhesive.
In the method for producing the spatula-equipped washing sponge where a spatula part 2 is integrally formed at the end part of a washing sponge body 1, the end part of the sponge body 1 is heat-pressed through the use of a press die 3, and the sponge body 1 is resinified so as to eliminate permeability. By using the resinified part of the press die part (2) as the spatula part 2, the washing sponge with the spatula is produced. It is favorable that urethane foam is used as the sponge body 1.
