Abstract:

To provide a method for producing zinc valuables of zinc oxide and zinc dust with high purity from zinc collected dust generated in blast working using zinc shots, and to provide zinc valuables produced by the production method.

In the process for producing zinc valuables composed of: a vaporizing-discharging stage where zinc collected dust is heated, so as to discharge zinc vapor; and a cooling-collecting stage where the zinc vapor is cooled, so as to collect zinc valuables, a molding stage is provided in a stage prior to the vaporizing-discharging stage, so as to mold the zinc collected dust into a lumpy shape, and the molding is heated in an oxidizing atmosphere or a weak oxidizing atmosphere, thus an oxidizing layer is formed on the surface of the particulate matter of the zinc collected dust composing the molding.
