Abstract:
To provide a production method for 2-deoxyribose and/or 1-O-alkyl-2-deoxyribose derivative which is excellent in operability and does not necessarily need to concentrate by water removal.
This method comprises reacting a 2-deoxyribosylamine derivative with an acid anhydride in an organic solvent to produce 2-deoxyribose and/or 1-O-alkyl-2-deoxyribose derivative.
