Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficient production of a blade body for an automatic machine which has a high-hardness blade tip excellent in shearability, hardly generates crack and defect due to impact during use, has excellent durability, is easy to maintain and is capable of reusing the blade body.SOLUTION: A method for production of a blade body for an automatic machine includes performing the build-up welding of a below-mentioned welding material on the blade tip 23 of the blade body 2a, applying an aging treatment at 560-700°C, and polishing the surface of the build-up part 10 after cooling. The welding material has a composition comprising, by mass, 0.05-0.15% C, 0.10-0.50% Si, 0.10-0.50% Mn, 2.00-3.00% Cr, 0.10-0.50% V, 14.00-20.00% W, 17.00-22.00% Co, 0-1.00% total amount of four elements: Ti, Nb, Ta and B, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
