Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an accident resulting injury or death by the recharge of a transmission line by checking the reclosing the path of a breaker when the accident of the transmission line is wire breaking.
CONSTITUTION: This device is composed of signal transmitting circuits 31 and 32, which transmits the current and the voltage detected at each terminal A and B to the other terminal B and A through a communication path PCM2, and wire breaking detecting circuits 50 and 51, which infers the voltage at the accident point from each terminal A and B and judges it to be a wire breaking accident by reason of the voltages at two accident points inferred from both terminals A and B being different from each other. When the outputs S1 and S2 of wire breaking detecting circuits 50 and 51 are issued, these outputs S1 and S2 are applied, respectively, to the NAND circuits 63 and 64 inside closing devices 61 and 62, which stops the progress of the reclosing processing by the reclosing devices 61 and 62, and checks the closing of breakers CB1 and CB2. Hereby, the accident resulting in injury or death by the recharge of a transmission line PCM in case of wire breaking accident can be prevented.
