Abstract:
To provide PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid)-containing oils and fats having a good oxidation stability and flavor at a low cost without using a special adsorbent in the purification of edible oils and fats, especially the oils and fats containing the PUFA such as fish oil, etc.
This method for purifying the oils and fats is provided by putting off a degumming process including a first phosphoric acid treatment in a conventional oils and fats-purification flow, performing firstly an acid-removal with an alkali, then performing the phosphoric acid treatment, and performing an activated carbon treatment to remove impurities such as peroxylipids, metals, etc., and the degumming simultaneously.
