Abstract:
To provide a method for purifying an organic material, which can sublimate and purify an organic material having a high sublimation temperature and high heat resistance within a short time with high purity and high yield.
The method comprises: reducing the concentration of inorganic impurities in an organic material to 5,000 ppm or less, wherein the organic material has a temperature of 10% weight loss of 250°C or higher as measured by thermogravimetry under a degree of vacuum of 1×10-2 Pa or less; and then sublimating the organic material, thereby purifying the organic material.
