To provide a method capable of performing quantitative analysis of content of each dye composition with high accuracy from a dye composition containing a plurality of dye compounds.
The method for quantitating each dye compound in a dye containing composition containing the plurality of dye compounds includes the next processes (1) to (3): (1) a process of performing HPLC analysis of the dye containing composition to calculate absorbance ratio in detected wavelength of each dye compound to one dye compound contained in the composition; (2) a process of performing 1H-NMR analysis of the dye containing composition to calculate molar ratio of each dye compound to the one dye compound; (3) a process of calculating a ratio molar molecular absorption coefficient in the detected wavelength of each dye compound to the one dye compound from the absorbance ratio of each dye compound calculated in the process (1) and the molar ratio of each dye compound calculated in the process (2).
