Abstract:

To provide a method for quantitatively determining nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds or salts thereof which allows a user to pretreat specimens simply and allows a user to pretreat many specimens in a short time.

A determination method includes the steps of: subjecting specimens containing a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound represented by general formula (I) (in the formula, R represents a linear or a branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms) or a pharmaceutical acceptable salt thereof to deproteinization-treatment; and quantitatively determining the resulting specimens treated by the deproteinization-treatment by a liquid chromatography or a tandem mass spectrometry.
