Title:
METHOD FOR QUICKLY DETECTING PATHOGENIC BACTERIA FOR RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTION AND KIT THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005110545
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To find a method for quickly detecting a pathogenic bacteria for respiratory tract infection, and to provide a kit therefor.

This method for simultaneously detecting four kinds of the pathogenic bacteria for the respiratory tract infection comprises using primer sets originated from a lyt A gene encoding the autolysin (Lyt A) of pneumococcus, a gene encoding the 16Sr RNA of Haemophilus influenzae, a gene encoding the 16Sr RNA of Streptococcus pyogenes, and a gene encoding the 16Sr RNA of Mycoplasma pneumoniae, respectively, and the kit therefor. Further, the method for simultaneously detecting six kinds of the pathogenic bacteria for the respiratory tract infection comprises using primer sets originated from the above-mentioned four kinds of genes, a gene encoding the 16Sr RNA of Chlamydia pneumoniae, a gene encoding the 16Sr RNA of Legionella bacterium, and a mip gene encoding a protein MIP which is the pathogenesis factor of Legionella pneumophila, and the kit therefor.
