PURPOSE: To provide a method so designed that the recesses of a multiple raising seedling vessel are filled with soil incorporated with at least one kind of lightweight material selected from mineral fiber granules, perlite, vermiculite, pumice and chaff compost, etc., followed by planting the soil with juvenile seedlings to facilitate the moving and transport of the pot and improve raising economy.
CONSTITUTION: A raising seedling vessel 1A so designed that many raising seedling recesses 3 opened on the surface of a plate 2 and expanded toward the back surface are monolithically formed in the plate 2 is used in the present invention. Each of the recesses 3 is filled with soil incorporated with ≥20vol.% of at least one kind of lightweight material selected from mineral fibers such as granular rock wool, perlite, vermiculite, pumice and chaff compost, etc., and the soil is planted with juvenile seedlings. For the inner volume of the monolithically formed recesses 3, 230-500ml will be enough. Use of this multiple raising seedling vessel facilitates the handling in its moving and improves raising efficiency.
