Abstract:

To rapidly react and harden a coating on a plastic product, such as ABS, without deforming the plastic.

A temperature range is divided into a low temperature part (70°C) and a high temperature part (80°C). A near infrared ray lamp is provided on the low temperature part. It takes 25 minutes to attain a pencil hardness B in this method while it takes 40 minutes in a conventional method.
