PURPOSE: To promote the execution efficiency of rebuilding work by striding over the existing building while moving a newly-built and large-sized building mechanically to the outside of the existing building with rollers before the existing building is demolished to carry out construction precedently.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of concrete smooth surfaces 3 are formed on the grounds on both sides of the existing building A, and sliding guides 4 are temporarily provided to both sides of each of the smooth surfaces 3. A steel frame 2 of a newly-built building 1 in a steel frame assembly area C provided to the outside of one end of the existing building A is guided to the sliding guides 4. After that, the steel frame 2 is moved toward a specific location with sliding rollers 5 on the concrete smooth surfaces 3, and the whole steel frame 2 is constructed on the existing building A to carry out skeleton work of the newly-built building 1. Accordingly, a newly-built and large-sized building can be constructed on the outside of the existing building while keeping the existing building for a certain period of time.
