Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent leakage from occurring from the clearances of caisson bodies even when soil and sand are charged by a method wherein the caisson bodies for revetment are placed continuously on a foundation, a back-filling section is formed on the land side, bearing materials are arranged in the whole region of the surface of the back-filling section and the whole region is covered with a sheet bound with specified intervals.
CONSTITUTION: Bearing materials 7 consisting of a material such as meshes made of a synthetic resin having flexibility and abrasion resistance and the quantity of elongation larger than sheet materials 6 are bound with the top faces, undersides on both surfaces of the sheet materials 6 by a binding material, thus forming a sheet. The whole region of the surface of a back-filling section formed of caisson bodies for revetment is covered with the sheet. Reclaiming soil and sand are charged onto the sheet. Accordingly, the abrasion and damage of the sheet material are prevented, and water is not leaked from the continuous clearances of the caisson bodies and the stability of a constructed land can be kept for a prolonged term.
