To provide a method for recording a display recording medium of high image quality with excellent display quality without aging change of an image with easy handling as a hard copy.
The method comprises the steps of heating to melt substance solid at the ambient temperature and containing at least microcrystalline wax as a component and having near refractive index to that of a substance for forming a porous layer in a display recording medium formed with the layer having an air gap above a supporting board from an exterior of the medium and moving to record by filling it in the gap in the porous layer. Thus, since a microstructure is not formed in the filled state, satisfactory light transmission properties are obtained to perform high contrast between a transparent part and an emulsified part, and an excellent display quality without aging change of the image can be obtained.
