Abstract:
To provide a method for recovering aluminum and an apparatus for recovering aluminum using the same capable of efficiently removing a resin layer adhered to a packaging material containing an aluminum layer in a short time and recovering high purity aluminum.
A method for recovering aluminum by heating a packaging material containing an aluminum layer with superheated steam having a temperature higher than the melting point of a resin composing the resin layer and lower than the melting point of aluminum and decomposing and removing the resin layer in the packaging material containing the aluminum layer is provided.
