Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering the dross deposited on the bottom of a pot without damaging the bottom wall parts of the pot.
SOLUTION: At the time of recovering the dross 16 deposited on the base of the pot 1 by a square bucket 4 in this method for recovering the dross of galvanizing equipment, the bucket is first lowered onto the dross deposited on one end of the pot and while the front end of the bucket is directed downward and is pressed in the bottom direction of the pot, the bucket is moved to the opposite end direction of the pot. When the reaction in the progressing direction of the bucket attains a prescribed value, the front end of the bucket is made horizontal and the bucket is moved at a specified depth. When the front end of the bucket arrives at the opposite end of the pot, it is directed upward and the bucket is pulled up from the pot, by which the recovered dross is discharged outside.
