Abstract:

To provide a method of recovering the heat energy of slag by which the heat energy is efficiently recovered from the slag such as blast furnace slag.

In the recovery of the heat energy of the slag by feeding high temperature solidified slag 1 obtained by cooling molten slag and a gas of temperature lower than the solidified slag 1 into a cylindrically shaped heat exchanger 2 and heat-exchanging the solidified slag 1 and the gas for each other in the heat exchanger 2, the solidified slag 1 is pulverized by a crusher 8 so as to form a solidified slag fluidized bed 10 in the heat exchanger 2 and after that, the solidified slag 1 is fed to the heat exchanger 2.
