Abstract:

To provide a method of recovering heavy metals from a discharged material in a waste incineration facility, which is capable of separating and removing the heavy metals from the incineration fly ash flying from a waste incineration furnace and collected in a dust collector, a molten salt generated when melting the incineration residue such as the incineration fly ash or the molten fly ash or the like generated when melting, and has high utilization efficiency of a reducing agent used in such a case.

The molten salt 30 generated when melting the incineration residue such as the incineration fly ash is brought into contact with melted aluminum in an electric furnace structured to enable to keep the molten salt in the melting state to reduce the heavy metal chloride contained in the molten salt and the generated heavy metals 31 are separated and recovered from the molten salt.
