To provide a method for inexpensively and easily recovering phosphorous and iron from a steelmaking slag, when recycling the steelmaking slag containing phosphorous such as a dephosphorizing slag and a converter slag.
The method for recovering iron and phosphorous from the steelmaking slag includes: an adjusting step of adjusting the steelmaking slag containing phosphorous generated in a refining process in steelmaking so that the basicity (mass% CaO/mass% SiO2) becomes 1.7-2.1; a reducing step of reducing an iron oxide and a phosphorous oxide in the steelmaking slag of which the basicity has been adjusted by a reduction treatment using a reducing agent containing one or more of carbon, silicon and aluminum, and obtaining a phosphorous-containing molten iron in a molten state; and a cooling step of radiational-cooling the steelmaking slag and the phosphorous-containing molten iron after the reduction treatment to pulverize the steelmaking slag obtained after the reduction treatment.
