Abstract:

To solve the problem of the environmental pollution by disposal of metal combined waste plastics of waste cars, etc., by providing means capable of efficiently treating the metal combined waste plastics and recycling metals.

The metal combined waste plastics are immersed for a specified period of time into a molten liquid of ≥280°C and the plastic components in the metal combined waste plastics are gasified and carbonized and the carbonization components contg. the metals are separated. These components are charged together with coke into a melting furnace where oxygen-contg. gas is blown into the melting furnace from its lower part. Refining gas is discharged from the top of the furnace and molten iron and molten slag are discharged from the bottom of the furnace.
