PURPOSE: To efficiently recover a noble metal by a relatively simple method by continuously heating a wire coated with the noble metal at a specific temp. in the atm. and stripping the noble metal by a physical method.
CONSTITUTION: The coiled wire or composite material 1 which is coated with the noble metal in a part or the whole of the surface is continuously supplied by an un-coiler 2 and is heated in the atm. of 500 to 800°C in a heating furnace 3. The noble metal layer is then polished and removed by using rotary brushes 5 made of SUS in a polishing device 4. The polishing powder is collected by a dust collector 7. The wire from which the noble metal is removed is coiled by a coiler 6. The noble metal is relatively easily and efficiently recovered in this way without using chemicals.
