PURPOSE: To allow Pt to be adsorbed by an anion-exchange resin and to recover Pt in an acid solution in high yield by regulating the concentration of ammo nium salt in an acid solution containing Pt and ammonium salt to a specific value or below and then bringing the above acid solution into contact with an anion-exchange resin.
CONSTITUTION: Water is added to an acid solution containing metals, such as Pt, Cu, Ni, and Cr, and ammonium salt, such as NH4Cl, to regulate the concentration of ammonium salt to ≤10g/l, and then, the above acid solution is passed through a column packed with anion-exchange resin to allow Pt to be adsorbed by the anion-exchange resin, by which Pd can be separated and recovered from other contained metals, etc., at a high recovery rate.
