Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a noble metal capable of effectively recovering the noble metal from a solution containing a hydrochloric acid acidic Sn-containing noble metal catalyst recovery liquid by a simple method.SOLUTION: There is used a method for recovering a noble metal by an active carbon adsorption of the noble metal from a hydrochloric acid acidic Sn-containing noble metal catalyst recovery liquid, which has an acid concentration adjustment process for adjusting acid concentration of a solution containing the recovery liquid to 0.8 to 5 mol/L to obtain an adjustment liquid of which acid concentration is adjusted, a passing process for passing the adjustment liquid through an active carbon layer containing active carbon with pore volume of pore radius of 1 nm or less of 45 to 500 mm/g, and a process for separating the active carbon layer from the adjustment liquid passed through the active carbon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
