Abstract:
To provide a method for recovering a rare earth element whereby: in recovering a rare earth element in steel slag, it is possible to readily control the separation ratio of the rare earth element and a main component of the steel slag and/or a radioactive element.SOLUTION: The pH control of an exudate allows controlling the exudation amounts of a rare earth element and an elemental impurity. The exudate obtained by the method is combined with an element separation process to recover the rare earth element with efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: None
