To provide a method for recovering Sc in which the mixing of Th is reduced.SOLUTION: A method for recovering Sc includes the steps of: providing a solution containing Sc and Th; subjecting the solution containing Sc and Th to solvent extraction; and scrubbing an oil phase of the solvent extraction. The step for scrubbing includes a first sub step for scrubbing in a solution containing sulfuric acid and, then, a second sub step for scrubbing in a solution containing hydrochloric acid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
