To prevent a refrigerant gas from being discharged into ambient air as it is by a method wherein the refrigerant gas remaining in a refrigerant recovering unit and hoses is further arrested and collected under the condition of finishing recovery operation in a narrow sense upon defining such operation that a high-pressure refrigerant gas sealed in a freezing equipment is liquefied by a refrigerant recovering unit and poured into a refrigerant recovering bomb as recovery operation in a narrow sense.
An adsorption tank 17 is filled with a refrigerant adsorbent (e.g. activated charcoal) 17a. A hose 13C is made to communicate with the adsorption tank 17 via an on-off valve 18 and a refrigerant gas adsorbing hose 16, and a refrigerant gas remaining in a refrigerant recovering unit 14A and hoses is adsorbed and collected by the refrigerant adsorbent 17a. Since a non- condensable gas mixed in the residual refrigerant gas is a pollution-free substance, it is allowed to pass through the inside of the adsorption tank 17 without stopping therein and is discharged into ambient air through a check valve 17b.
