To provide a recovering method of sand in a green sand mold after pouring molten metal with which after shaking out the green sand mold, the green molding sand in non-heat affected part with the molten metal and the green molding sand in heat affected part with the molten metal caused by stickiness on an as-cast casting can separately be recovered, and an apparatus therefor.
This recovering method of the sand in the green sand mold after pouring the molten metal, is peculiarly provided with a process, in which the green sand mold is air-tightly surrounded in a mold shaking-out station, a process, in which the pressure in the air-tight space surrounded in the air-tight state is quickly reduced and the green sand mold is disintegrated to separate the green molding sand in the non-heat affected part and the as-cast casting, a process, in which the as-cast casting is carried into the other station and the green molding sand in the heat affected part with the molten metal is separated from the as-cast casting by applying vibration, and a process, in which these separated green molding sands and the as-cast casting are separately recovered, and this apparatus is provided.
