Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method for directly recovering reduced silver at a high yield and low cost with simple operation from a waste liquid of COD measurement.
CONSTITUTION: The waste liquid of COD measurement contg. the silver generated by masking chlorine ions by a silver salt at the time of COD measurement is adjusted under a condition of 0.1 to 2.0N sulfuric acid concn. and is brought into contact with an iron material, by which the silver is deposited. As a result, the silver is recovered without making the laborious operation.
