Abstract:
To provide a method for recovering titanium components capable of reducing the chlorine content in recovered titanium components.SOLUTION: A method for recovering titanium components includes: a primary step of supplying a suspension containing the acid-treated titanium hydroxide aggregate into the space in a compression section of a filter press apparatus, filling the suspension containing the acid-treated titanium hydroxide aggregate in the compression section, and compressing the compression section and the suspension at 0.10 to 1.00 MPa by a pressurized filtration chamber to remove water from the suspension to obtain a primary pressed material; a through washing step of performing through washing on the primary pressed material to obtain a through-washed product; and a secondary pressing step of pressing the compression section and the through-washed product through the pressurized filtration chamber to remove water from the through-washed product to obtain an acid-treated cake of titanium hydroxide aggregates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
