Title:
METHOD FOR RECOVERING UNREACTED ZINC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011219323
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for recovering unreacted zinc which efficiently recovers the zinc which does not contribute to a reduction reaction and is discharged in an unreacted state in a zinc reduction method for refining silicon for a solar cell.

In the method for recovering zinc in which the unreacted zinc included in an exhaust gas is condensed in a recovering tank capable of cooling the exhaust gas after a reduction reaction with zinc in a method for manufacturing the silicon which refines the silicon by reducing silicon tetrachloride with zinc at a temperature region of 900-1,200°C, the method for recovering the unreacted zinc is characterized in that the recovery of the zinc collected in the recovering tank is performed after the temperature of the zinc collected in the recovering tank is raised.
