To provide a method for recycling a discarded material composed of CFRP, which can accomplish the complete recyclization of the discarded material composed of the CFRP in which carbon fibers are added as a reinforcing material to a resin, and which can offer a recycled article effectively using the contained carbon fibers.
The recycling method for obtaining the desired recycled article from the discarded material composed of the CFRP, in which the carbon fibers are added as the reinforcing material to the resin, is equipped with powder producing stages (crushing and pulverization stages S1 and S2) in which the discarded material is crushed and pulverized, so that a powder having a prescribed particle size can be obtained, a separation stage S3 in which the powders obtained in the powder producing stages are separated according to specific gravity, and recycling and working stages (pressure molding stages S4 and S7, and carbonization stages S5 and S8) in which the recycled article is molded from the powder, selected from among the powders separated in the stage S3, of the specific gravity suitable for the recycled article.
