To improve the yield of molten steel by recovering dust produced at the time of operating a converter with a wet type dust collector, drying with a simple method and reusing the dust into the converter.

The wet dust 2 obtd. by recovering the corse grain dust produced at the time of blowing the converter with the wet type dust collector, is charged into a steel-made pan 3 for conveying a converter slag. After drying the wet dust 4 by residual heat after receiving the slag into the steel-made pan at the previous time, the dried dust is charged into the converter 9 together with the other coolant 8 (scrap, molded pig, etc.,) through a scrap chute 7 and successively, molten iron is charged and the blowing is applied.
