To provide a method for recycling an electric wire-containing polyethylene resin pipe joint, capable of ensuring the quality stability of a regenerated product regenerated from recovered matter and capable of enhancing the recovery of a polyethylene resin to almost 100%.
The method for recycling the electric wire-containing polyethylene resin pipe joint consists of a washing process B for washing the electric wire-containing polyethylene resin pipe joint to be recycled with water, a grinding process C for finely grinding the electric wire-containing polyethylene resin pipe joint washed in the washing process B, a specific gravity separation process D for charging the ground matter in a liquid and separating the ground matter on the basis of the specific gravity difference with the liquid and a granulation process G for granulating the polyethylene resin recovered in the specific gravity separation process D. A wind-force sorting process F for sorting the ground matter by utilizing wind force is provided between the grinding process C and the granulation process G.
