PURPOSE: To effectively recycle and utilize cloth waste by turning nonwoven fabric whose METSUKE (tufting wt.) is specified to a back surface layer, turn ing a recovered wool fiber web composed of tufted cloth waste to an intermedi ate layer and a new fiber web whose METSUKE is specified to a front surface layer, laminating them and needle punching them.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of manufacturing a needle punched felt carpet, the tufted cloth waste 12 is recovered by a garnet machine 11 first and the recovered wool fiber web 13 from the garnet machine 11 is laminated on the upper surface of the nonwoven fabric 14 whose METSUKE is 10-40g/m2. Then, the new fiber web 16 whose METSUKE is 50-250g/m2 formed by a spinning card 15 is laminated on the upper surface of the recovered wool fiber web 13. Consequently, the nonwoven fabric 14, the recovered wool fiber web 13 and the new fiber web 16 are needle punched and integrated by a needle punching machine 17 and they are pressurized, heated and set by a pressurizing and heating roller 18. Then, a coating material is printed on the surface 1 waste of the new fiber web 16 by a printer 19 and nonslip resin is applied on the nonwoven fabric 14 on the back surface by a doctor roll 20 or the like.
