To provide a method for recycling a waste plastics, in which a vinyl chloride resin or the like are mixed in a household waste plastics and become a source of dioxins and therefor it is desirable that the same is early recovered, separated from a human society and encapsulated so as not to subject to open burning and to be brought into a refuse incineration site, in the case of submerging the waste plastics into the sea, a chance coming into contact with high temperature (400-800°C) is removed and the waste plastics can be safely treated, and a novel use for recycling the waste plastics into the sea is developed.
The waste plastics is melted and a natural pumice is bonded to form an artificial floating algae reef. When the same is retained in the position of 10 meters depth of water in the sea, it does not receive the effect of sea wave and solar light is well shining in and seaweeds grow thick. Fishes spawn in the artificial floating algae reef having thick grown seaweeds and a bait is plenty and therefor the resource of fishes is effectively increased. When the sail of a submarine sailboat is made of the waste plastics and sunk in the sea to disturb a tidal current, planktons in the sea increase and absorption of CO2 in the sea is promoted and is useful for prevention of global warming effect.
