To provide a method for recycling the waste of a thermoplastic resin molded article which can easily bring about a coated-film stripped and ground material as a remolding material in a high-yield manner.
This recycling method comprises: a grinding step (S1) of grinding a plurality of kinds of waste materials of the thermoplastic resin molded articles whose resin base material softening temperatures are different from one another and which have coated films and metallic components; a metallic-material screening and removing step (S3) of screening and removing a metallic material obtained by grinding the metallic component from among ground materials ground through the grinding step by a screening device; a ground-material screening step (S5) of screening a desired resin-ground material by dropping the ground material from which the metallic material is removed through the metallic-material screening and removing step, and changing a ground-material dropping direction in such a manner that a jet of gas is emitted to either of the resin-ground material unnecessary and the desired resin-ground material among the falling ground materials; and a coated-film stripping step (S7) of stripping off the coated film bonded to a base material by applying a searing force to the desired resin-ground material screened through the ground-material screening step under the condition of the softening temperature of the resin base material contained in the resin-ground material.
