Abstract:

PURPOSE: To (efficiently) reduce the carbon compd. content of an aq. hydrogen peroxide soln. produced by the anthraquinone method.

CONSTITUTION: In order to separate carbon compds. with an adsorption agent which can be regenerated without difficulty, a zeolite front the set of dealuminized H-Y-zeolites with a module (SiO2/Al2O3) of ≥20 or H-mordenites with a module of at least 20 is used as the solid adsorption agent.
