To reduce energy consumption during cruising operation by ejecting gas containing fluid from the submerged surface of a hull and also ejecting liquid-state fluid along the submerged surface from the vicinity in front of its ejection plane so as to feed the gas containing fluid into a boundary layer near the submerged surface.
When gas including fluid in which much air foam is contained is ejected from the gas containing fluid ejection port 6 on a submerged surface 2, such a state as allowing interposition of air bubbles A near its lower course may take plane. And if the liquid-state fluid is ejected along the submerged surface 2 from a liquid state fluid ejection port 7 approximately in front of a gas containing fluid ejection port 6, air bubbles A are cut by means of the liquid-state fluid on the basis of large kinetic energy of liquid portion in the liquid-state fluid so as to be in such a state as accompanying the liquid-state fluid, thus to be easily fed in the bottom layer of a boundary layer B. Thereby, gas component is interposed inside of the boundary layer B and also many air bubbles A or layers are formed near the submerged surface 2, thus the frictional resistance of the submerged surface 2 is reduced. Therefore, energy consumption at the time of cruising ships, etc., can be decreased.
