Abstract:
To provide a method for reducing a network bandwidth required for video streaming using an artificial intelligence module.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for reducing a network bandwidth required for video streaming using an artificial intelligence module. In the method, in a server terminal, resolution of an image to be transmitted is reduced first and then the resultant low resolution image is transmitted to a client terminal via a network to thereby reduce the network bandwidth required for transmission of an image streaming. Then, in the client terminal, the received low resolution image is restored to a high resolution image with an artificial intelligent (AI) processing module trained in advance in the client terminal. The method can provide a full benefit of two which are high quality of the image streaming and low network bandwidth consumption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11A
