Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce nitrogen oxide by reducing nitrogen oxide immediately after burning by a method in which solutions of nitrogen compounds such as urea or pyridine are injected into a combustion chamber from one side opposite to the direction of flame injection at the periphery of a burning flame.

CONSTITUTION: A combustion flame 3 from a rotary burner 2 arranged at one side of a combustion chamber 1 is injected into the chamber 1. And urea solution is injected through a spray nozzle 4 prepared at another rear side against the direction of combustion flame injected, thereby to surround the periphery of the combustion flame. Thus the nitrogen oxide in the combustion flame immediately after burning may be reduced.
