The invention relates to the method for reducing the operation torque of the piping equipment connecting a formed film for reducing the operation torque with either or two of surfaces of the operation part side and the operated part side positioned at the operation section of the piping equipment. The piping equipment includes a valve or a water plug, the operation part side includes a valve bar or a spindle, the operated part side includes a packing, and the formed film includes a component including a fatty acid or aromatic carboxylic acid.
