PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reducing a power consumption amount of a freezer or refrigerator equipped by a conventional refrigeration machine.SOLUTION: In a method of reducing a power consumption amount of an existing refrigeration machine, the air pressure in a freezer or refrigerator equipped by a conventional refrigeration machine is lowered to perform cooling; and thereby cooling is performed from the middle core of a non-cooling object, a cooling time is shortened, and dietary fiber is not destructed without causing deformation and discoloration.
