Abstract:
To provide a method for reducing residual chlorine in drainage with less labor and time required than by the conventional ones.
The method for reducing residual chlorine in residual drainage includes a step of electrolyzing the drainage at the anode side, a step of electrolyzing at the cathode side, and a step of mixing electrolyzed water at the anode side and electrolyzed water at the cathode side. Neutralization energy is applied to a hypochlorous acid to decompose a molecule of hypochlorous acid and reduce the concentration of the residual chloride, so that the residual chloride is treated with less labor and time than the conventional ones. The pH may be also prepared by preparing the flow of the anode side and that of the cathode side.
