To provide a method for efficiently reducing a solid content in plastic decomposed oil to utilize the plastic decomposed oil generated by decomposing plastics as high value-added fuel or raw oil in a petrochemistry process or a petroleum refining process, and to provide a device thereof.
The plastic decomposed oil, which is obtained by decomposing plastics and has the specific gravity of 1.0 or less, the pour point of less than 100°C, and a solid content of 10,000-500,000 mg/L is processed by a decanter type centrifugal separator, and then is processed by a disk type centrifugal separator. This enables the reduction of the solid content in the plastic decomposed oil to 100 mg/L or less, the suppression of the staining inside and outside a liquefaction plant and the generation of a blocking etc., and the effective utilization of the plastic decomposed oil as high value-added fuel or raw oil in a petrochemical process or petroleum refining process.
